The concept for the Takanawa House facade is minimalist and represents in a modern way the Asian culture.
It is based on the placement of 10 sliding wood panels distributed in 8 balconies which allow privacy for each room and appreciate the park in front of the building. The dynamism of the panels creates a mix of shadows on the wall that makes it more attractive and reflects the purpose of the company Forum8 which consist on movement.
The materials for this proposal are steel painted in white for the structure, white concrete for the balcony, 6 wood framed windows in the corners, 2 small windows for the bathroom on the first and second floor, concrete bench and stone finish on the walls on the ground floor.
