front yard/entry/landscaping, it's currently in decent condition although mostly original (built in 1973) and i'm looking for an updated, clean, modern look. Overall budget is approx $20,000.
I want it to look different, updated, clean lines, and modern. Challenge is creating that within a reasonable budget.
i'm thinking that i'd like to add an element of turf and possible succulents to the front and am planning on gutting most of what is in the front yard to start over. i'd also like to remove the arches and have clean straight lines up to the roofline. along the wrought iron fence that is currently there, i'd like to rip that out and possibly put in another 6' fence with gate for some privacy.
I'm open to looking at any and all concepts from designers. I like the idea of having a fence around the entry where the old wrought iron currently is and possibly some sort of a small fence around the border of the yard, but that being said I'm not married to the idea either way. I'm excited to see what people come up with. Affordability is important, and also keeping it modern and clean looking. I plan to knock out the current Spanish style arches out front and have exposed beams going straight up to the roof line. Also plan to tear out all the landscaping including on the right side of the garage and possibly doing something to that wall to make it more aesthetically pleasing.
