This design offers a simple solution that retains the existing structures, by emphasizing the 'fin'-like columns by covering it with stone slate finishes (any stone finish that readily available is doable) and extruded the exterior edges of the columns by 8 inches to create vertical linear coves for indirect LED lighting that will create a tall figure during day and night. This vertical column 'strips' / 'fins' concept will also look quite eyecatching to passer by-s (either from pedestrians' or drivers' point of view who passing by with different speed and scale of distance).
Cedar wood sidings are given at the bottom of the building (planter area) and to create additional raised panels at the top to make the building's figures taller (preferably lightweight structure, could be done using either wooden or steel structure or brickwall to support the sidings, but subject to lateral wind force and material costs at that particular area).
All the three new entrances are standing taller and accentuated than the rest, which most of modification happens here. The fin-like LED frames (like the ones at the existing columns) are created to form grander entrance gates to tenants / premises. At these area, the existing canopies are omitted to give more transparent exposure for the entrances and giving more space for signage area. At south frontage, where Comfort Dental is, the long but shorter massive wall can be turned into an artistic cedar wood wall with glowing signage (but the height stays the same, without any raised panel to make some kind of accentuated break on the height and make the building less bulky.
