My main idea was to utilize the space to the maximum with ample amount of storage without having it over bearing.
The cube theme is used to negate the unsymmetrical odd angles of the alcoves on either side.
The bed placement is a L-shaped corner which faces the television and the window at the same time.
I have used two headboards over this L-shape, one king-sized and another queen-sized that define the L-shape of the bed and the whole space in general.
The bed is either custom-made on site or purchased and installed on site. The alcove behind the bed is used as a storage for blankets and pillows. The bed is a box bed with a tiny pull-out trolley in the front which makes up for a bed for pets. This can be deducted if not necessary. The platform of the bed is 9'' from the flooring which is low enough for the pets to climb up and on to the bed.
The alcove behind the bed is kept empty with just a painting in place.
The railing behind the king-sized headboard which overlooks the staircase has 7 storage/ display cubes hung at different levels from the ceiling through steel pipes. It helps in defining the bedroom whilst still keeping the whole area in perspective. It also prevents the pets from jumping and falling over the railing on the other side below.
The rest of the items are as requested store-bought and installed on site.
The area around the window is kept open to get in the full benefits of the only light source in the whole space.
The color is kept white so the objects displayed do not get overbearing with the heavy wooden flooring.
