The design proposal for the strip center preserves the original identity of the existing building. The proposal incorporates some new features while focusing on the modification of existing ones to reduce the cost.
Highlight the main entrances of the building areas through a light weight wood structure with a higher height.
The new timber structure is light and does not need heavy structural integration with the existing building.
Raise the parapet height of the areas 1, 2. This modification is only on the frontal plane and partial on the sides to reduce cost.
Comfort Clinic Modifications:
Proposed changes for the facades of the modern clinic include repainting the walls, columns and awnings.
The Corner block is cladded with stacked stone with decorative steel bars. This proposal will be ideal for possible future division of the large clinic space into smaller areas (Similar to areas 1,2).
Area 2 Entrance:
Proposed entrance for area 2 is in the existing glass plane. This proposal is an alternative for the demolition of external concrete walls and any structural elements that exist within.
A planter next to this entrance is also suggested.
A decorative cornice with a possible drainage system is also proposed all around the building.
Advertisement billboards on large side walls are proposed
Lighting fixtures on the existing columns
