Thanks for the Opportunity. My Design Proposal is Very simple, unique and straight forward. The City Requirements as Stated were adhered to accordingly. Maximum size, Height and required drawings AESTHETICALLY, the design gives a modern feel to the Historic barn structure through the use of large windows and skylights. on the inside, it is a comfy feel with modern interior design touch still maintaining the barn house elements such as barnyard doors, wood accents on floors and walls, furniture e.t.c
FUNCTIONALITY Wise, the design clearly separates the tenants from the owners by placing door to garage/storage and that of the apartment on opposite sides.The storage allows you to be able to carry out your gardening with ease. This side of the garage (storage area), allows for future possibilities such as a patio or deck for your gardening. In the Apartment the design is kept very Simple to allow for flexibility of use and re-arrangement of some furniture in future when necessary.
TENANT PARKING: Regarding an extra garage for your tenant, I offer two options. One is the option of having one car shed as shown in the design on the side of the tenant entrance. It replicates the Gambrel roof which gives the garage unique accessory. Option two is to Ignore option one and only give out the apartment to persons without cars.
