The design cannot be constructed with local engineers and materials
Relative to criteria (creativity, Lab functionality, landscaping that connects, and local flavor): Proposes a covered walkway - and a Zulu design, which I believe also doubles as a security element. The latter is a good idea (i.e. to consider securing equipment), however, I wonder whether this design element will be cost effective. A similar goal (i.e. local context) can be woven in through art on the walls commissioned to local artists. Also, I thought the quality of the graphics was not as good as other designers.
Very interesting design aesthetics, but I don't think this submission meets the application requirements. There is a lack of planning for the interior spaces (particularly regarding staff/people management in what is essentially a fairly compact space). The clean design would not necessarily help accommodate multiple different work-streams, and appears to be too simplistic
there are some interesting ideas to use, like using face-to-face table, but the overall set of proposal are a bit weak, particularly in terms of reconfiguration of space; Outside setup is also a bit weak.
