The project consists of refurbishing one interior existing area for the purposes of providing offices spaces to a Tenant for the facility.
Maximum design occupant load is 27 occupants for the interior refurbished area proposed. One exit is required and provided.
Site accessibility, including an exterior accessible route to the building, remains on Columbus Street. An additional route is added for the proposed exterior north side on Chestnut Street. Changes in level are limited to 1/4 inch maximum in height for exterior walk surfaces to interior spaces at the ground level entry.
Demolition of a thick concrete dock was required of the existing construction for the spaces as shown on drawings could be built.
Exterior elevations and Exterior building envelope are shown and an approval has been sought and accepted by the local Lancaster Historical Commission Board in November 2012.
