the remodelling is done taking in consideration three important issues.
1. to minimally disturb the previous design
2. ease of access to spaces
3. optimal functionality of spaces
for large number of guests to be seated in the dining room, the dining table in the kitchen could be placed in the dining room adjoining the living room and hence, a maximum of 24 guests could be seated in the dining area when required. an office space is developed beside the elevatore shaft. and the elevator is intentionally placed beside the stairs in order to provide access to elevator shaft from beneath the stairs.
