The site is located in a hilly region. The house will be constructed as marked on the site plan, with views of the valley towards the "east"
The house will be constructed on two floors, with living spaces at the lower floor, and bedrooms on the upper floor. In election, the house has sloping roof keeping the style of surrounding architecture.
If the road level is at level zero, the first level of the house is at 16 feet above the road.
The second level is at 27 feet. The total height of the two floors including a sloping roof is 29/30 feet.
The garden as marked in the plan, will be at 16 feet level, that will cover the entire frontage of house (i.e 20 feet in front of the house, as marked in plan)
As marked in the drawing in green color, we would like the lawn to be left as a flat lawn at 16 feet level.
The area marked in orange is the area that is available for landscaping and designing the approach to the house from the road to the entrance to the house at level 16 feet. Please note that we would prefer if the landscape design takes up as little of this area, so that the rest can go towards the lawn to make the existing asked out one bigger
We are looking for a design for the best approach to the house. The car will be parked at the road level and we will need to start climbing to the house at 16 feet level from the road. The entrance to the house is as marked
We are looking for:
a) an easy climb into the house ( I.e. Steps with very low risers) that will be aesthetically pleasing approach to the house entrance porch (as marked on the plan), preferably with curves/ organic shapes ( in plan) , with logical breaks , flat area at appropriate intervals with enough place for bench and some flat lands Paes area etc.
b) We would like the design to take into consideration building retaining walls wherever required, as well as keeping the property marked and secure so as to keep out trespassers (with gate, walls, landscaping etc).
We have submitted:
1)Plan of the plot marking boundaries and outline of house, with relevant dimensions
2) site photograph ( the level here people are standing is the road level from where we have to approach the house which will be 16'6" higher.
We would like a plans, elevations, sections and a 3-D drawing for your concept.
